使徒信經
Apostles' Creed

我信上帝，全能的父，創造天地的主。
我信我主耶穌基督，上帝的獨生子；
因著聖靈感孕，從童貞女馬利亞所生；
在本丟彼拉多手下受難，被釘在十字架上，受死，埋葬；
降在陰間；第三天從死里復活；
升天，坐在全能父上帝的右邊；
將來必從那里降臨，審判活人，死人。
我信聖靈；
我信聖而公之教會；我信聖徒相通；
我信罪得赦免，
我信身體復活；
我信永生。阿們！

I believe in God, the Father almighty,
creator of heaven and earth.
I believe in Jesus Christ, his only Son, our Lord,
who was conceived by the Holy Spirit
and born of the virgin Mary.
He suffered under Pontius Pilate,
was crucified, died, and was buried;
he descended to hell.
The third day he rose again from the dead.
He ascended to heaven
and is seated at the right hand of God the Father almighty.
From there he will come to judge the living and the dead.
I believe in the Holy Spirit,
the holy catholic* church,
the communion of saints,
the forgiveness of sins,
the resurrection of the body,
and the life everlasting. Amen.

*that is, the true Christian church of all times and all places

關於上帝
About God

上帝是惟一且又真又活的神。祂將自己顯現為自有永有的的全能神。上帝永恆以三位一體的形式存在，包含三個位格——聖父、聖子和聖靈。這些位格本質相同，互相順服。

There is one living and true God. He has made Himself known as the Great I AM. God eternally exists in three distinct Persons of the Holy Trinity — Father, Son and Holy Spirit. They are equal in substance and have mutually submissive relationships.

聖父
God the Father

上帝是造物的慈愛天父。祂對我們懷有父母的關愛、憐憫和耐心。超越父親的關懷，上帝無所不能，無所不在，無所不知，祂是宇宙的創造者。在上帝無盡的能力和愛中，萬事都互相效力，叫愛神的人得益處（參考：羅馬書 8:28）。

God is a loving father to his creation. God as Father has paternal love, mercy and patience for us. Beyond His fatherly care, God has omnipotence, omnipresence and omniscience, and He is the creator of the universe. With God’s unlimited power and love, all things work together for those who love Him for good (cf. Romans 8:28).

聖子
God the Son

耶穌是基督，聖經中宣告的「受膏者」彌賽亞。祂是天父獨生的子，我們藉此得上帝兒女的名分。耶穌是完全的神和完全的人。祂沒有犯罪，卻爲我們的罪被釘十字架，被天父復活。耶穌基督是我們的主，擁有完全的權柄，是神本體的真像（參考：希伯來書 1:3）。

Jesus is the Christ, the “Anointed One”, the Messiah announced in the Scriptures. He is the only begotton Son of God the Father, and we are adopted as God’s sons and daughters through Him. Jesus is true God and true man. He has committed no sin, but He was crucified for our sins and was raised to life by the Father. Jesus Christ is our Lord who has total sovereignty and the exact imprint of God’s nature (cf. Hebrews 1:3).

聖靈
God the Holy Spirit

我們的信仰被聖靈所印證，祂是三位一體的其中一個位格，等同於聖父與聖子。聖靈曾充滿眾先知與聖人。每位信徒都透過受洗領受聖靈。聖靈的果實鍛煉出屬靈的恩賜，爲要榮耀耶穌和祝福祂的事工（參考：加拉太書 5:22-23）。

Our faith is professed in the Holy Spirit, one of the divine Persons of the Holy Trinity, equal with the Father and the Son. The Holy Spirit has filled the Prophets and the Saints. Every believer receives the Spirit through the Baptism. The fruit of the Holy Spirit tempers the spiritual gifts for the purpose of glorifying Jesus and blessing His ministries (cf. Galatians 5:22-23).

聖經
The Bible

聖經由新舊約一共66本書卷組成，都出於神的啓示，是沒有謬誤且可以信靠的上帝的話語。聖經是指導我們每日生活的信條的惟一來源。聖經於教訓、督責、使人歸正、教導人學義都是有益的，使我們得以完全（參考：提摩太後書 3:16-17）。

The Bible, consisting of the 66 books of the Old Testament and New Testament, is the inspired and only infallible and authoritative Word of God. The Scriptures form our only source of doctrines of everyday life. The Bible is profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction and for training in righteousness to make us complete (cf. 2 Timothy 3:16-17).

人類
Humankind

上帝照自己的形象造男造女，爲要與我們相連結。然而，我們因亞當和夏娃的墮落，繼承了罪性。所有人類都被罪轄制，且執意排斥上帝的榮耀。因此，造物遭受到罪的影響和後果，若沒有基督的救贖將毫無盼望（參考：以賽亞書 59:2）。

God made humankind–male and female– in His own image to live in fellowship with Him. However, we have inherited a sinful nature from the Fall of Adam and Eve. All people are subject to sin and have willfully rejected the glory of God. Because of this, the creation experiences the effects and consequences of sin, and thus have no hope without the act of salvation in Christ (cf. Isaiah 59:2).

救贖
Salvation

主耶穌爲了我們的罪被釘十字架。藉由祂爲我們代贖犧牲的獻祭，上帝完全的公義得以滿足，我們和祂破碎的關係得以和好。這也展現了上帝對祂所造之物的完全的愛。惟獨本乎上帝白白的恩典，也惟獨因著信心，我們才能得救恩（參考：以弗所書 2:8-9）。

The Lord Jesus Christ was crucified for our sins. His vicarious and atoning sacrifice is a representative offering, satisfying the demands of God’s perfect justice and reconciling our broken relationships with Him. It is also a demonstration of God’s perfect love towards His creation. Salvation is the free gift of God provided by grace alone through faith alone (cf. Ephesians 2:8-9).

教會
The Church

教會由屬神的子民組成，是耶穌基督的信徒的聚所，祂吩咐給教會洗禮和聖餐的儀式。教會的存在是爲了敬拜和榮耀上帝。教會的使命是通過傳福音以及建立靈裏健康的地方教會，使萬民成為耶穌的門徒。耶穌差派牧師和監督/長老負責造就教會成員，使他們愛主和彼此相愛，在基督裏成長爲成熟的信徒。

The Church consists of God’s people. It is the assembly of believers in Jesus Christ, who gave His Church the ordinances of baptism and communion. The Church exists to worship and glorify God. The mission of the Church is to make disciples for Jesus through preaching the Gospel and planting healthy local churches. Jesus appoints pastors and overseers/elders to do the work of equipping Church members to love God and love others, in order that believers mature in Christ.

洗禮
Baptism

在水中洗禮是對基督信仰的公開承認。信徒受洗進入基督的死，藉由復活的大能進入新的生命。洗禮是信徒領受救贖的恩典后，憑著信心決志順服的行爲（參考：羅馬書 6:3-4）。

Baptism in water is a public confession of the faith in Christ. Believers are baptized into the death of Christ and raised into a new life through the power of resurrection. Baptism is an act of obedience done in faith by believers after they have received the grace of salvation (cf. Romans 6:3-4).

聖餐
Communion

聖餐是爲了記念耶穌在世上和祂的門徒的最後晚餐。餅和杯代表了耶穌的身體爲我們破碎和祂爲我們所流的寶血。這個重複舉行的儀式，表明我們持續得益于基督的救贖，以及我們同其它教會成員在主裏合一（參考：哥林多前書 11:23-34）。

The Lord’s Supper is a meal of remembrance of the last dinner Jesus shared with His disciples on earth. The bread and cup are symbols of the breaking of Christ’s body and the shedding of His blood on our behalf. The ordinance is to be observed repeatedly as a sign of continued participation in the atoning benefits of Christ’s life and our unity with other members in Jesus’ Church (cf. 1 Corinthians 11:23-34).

耶穌再來
The Return of Jesus

在世界的末了，耶穌基督將以實體可見且充滿榮耀的方式再來。那時失喪者與被拯救者將被身體復活。他們將于最後的審判站在耶穌面前，接受生命的評斷。失喪者要經受永恆的懲罰和苦楚。被拯救者將藉著基督國度在新耶路撒冷的成就，收穫永恆的祝福（參考：啟示錄 21）。

At the end of the age, there will be a visible, personal and glorious return of Jesus Christ. There will be a bodily resurrection of the lost and the saved. They will stand before Jesus at the final judgment to give an account of their life. The lost will endure the everlasting punishment and misery. The saved will receive everlasting blessedness through the fulfillment of Christ’s Kingdom in the new Jerusalem (cf. Revelation 21).
